The lack of stars and reviews concerned me but the price of the suit sold us on trying it.
Our 10 year old has the cotton candy color and although the most shy of our three swimming sons, he loves his race suit and it is easy to spot him a mile away. He feels fast and has put up faster and faster times each meet while wearing it.
After each event our boys go to the showers to rinse off the chlorine, if showers are available. After each meet we rinse the suits in cold water, lay flat on a towel and then roll them up to remove excess water then lay flat on a new towel. After a day and once totally dry, we were told to store them in a zip lock bag with all the air squeezed out. The rep said this method can help retain the life of the tech suit better.
Our 12 year old has the black suit and also loves it. Same story on how he feels in it and how he has been racing. He turned 13 a few days ago and wore it at back to back meets. He dropped more time on events he did just the weekend prior and was able to achieve some of the new age group standard times for 13-14 which made him happy only 6 days into being in the next age group.
On stitching yes. We have one area on the black suit with a broke stitch seam but it doesn’t seem to harm the positive effects of the suit and it doesn’t bother our son. He is happy to have a tech suit for an amazing price. It has wonderful overall compression, it repels water amazingly well, and has worked beautifully for our sons. At the price…
